TYPELATINO (2016)
Latinska Amerika je večinoma poznana po prijaznih ljudeh, rajskih plažah, barvitih mestih in edinstveni gastronomiji, ima pa tudi živahno in bogato vizualno kulturo. Typelatino je nastal med enoletnim popotovanjem avtorjev okoli sveta leta 2016, med katerim nista mogla neopaženo mimo barvite, duhovite, izjemno ustvarjalne tipografije, večinoma ročno poslikanih napisov, ki označujejo Latinsko Ameriko. Med prestopanjem mej ozemelj Mehike, Kube, Gvatemale, Nikaragve, Paname, Kolumbije, Peruja, Bolivije, Argentine in Brazilije se stili vseskozi spreminjajo, pa vendar ohranjajo skupno nit.
V zbirki fotografij, ki dokumentira različne tipografske izraze in posebnosti vsake države, nas Typelatino nagovarja k podrobnejšemu pogledu na neopažene oblike umetnosti, večkrat prezrte v vsakdanjem življenju. Končno je Typelatino poklon vsej raznolikosti in domišljiji anonimne tipografije, ki jo najdemo na trgih, avtobusih, javnih znakih, oglasih in stenah, aplicirano na raznovrstne medije, vedno v drznih sijočih barvah.

Latin America is mostly known for its friendly people, paradise beaches, colourful towns and unique gastronomy, but also has a vibrant and rich visual culture. Typelatino was created during the one-year journey of authors around the world in 2016, in the course of which they could not bypass the colourful, witty, extremely creative typography, mostly hand-painted in signs that mark Latin America. While crossing the boundaries of territories across Mexico, Cuba, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and Brazil, styles are continually changing, yet maintaining a common thread.
A collection of photographs documenting the different typographic expressions and particularities of each country, Typelatino invites us to take a closer look at the unnoticed forms of art that surround us in our everyday lives. Ultimately, it is a tribute to all the diversity and imagination of the anonymous typography found in markets, buses, public signs, advertisements and walls, applied on all possible media, always in bold bright colours.
