Ted Funke has always felt at home in the grooves of funky, uplifting house music – the soulful, vocal-driven sound he believes is the heart of house. Influenced by funk, soul, and disco from a young age, the Slovenian DJ has built his career on good vibes and classic house energy.

Rather than chasing trends or mainstream fame, Ted proudly represents timeless house music, earning a reputation among fans as an ambassador of feel-good grooves. Today, he enjoys the creative freedom to produce and perform music that reflects his deep love for the genre.

In 2017, Ted made his production debut with Touch My Soul on Marshall Jefferson’s Freakin909. A year later, People Sayin’, a collab with Dino DZ, hit No. 16 on Traxsource’s Tech House chart and landed in Mixmag Adria’s top 10. Their momentum continued with a 2019 EP on Ocean Trax, featuring House Healed Me, which reached No. 42 on Traxsource and was played by The Shapeshifters at Defected Croatia.

With gigs around the world and a resume that includes sharing stages with legends like Roger Sanchez, Claptone, and David Penn, Ted Funke continues to spread joy through house music – one groove at a time.
