LJSAF ’23: opening w/ DJ SamSara & Raketa

—–OTVORITVENO OGREVANJE letošnjega #LJSAF ’23 – (Ljubljana Street Art Festival ’23) na letnem vrtu Gale Hale bosta pestrili domači, dobro znani DJ samSara (20:00-22:00) in Raketa (22:00-00:00). Vsaka s svojo specifično selekcijo groova in eklektičnega nastopa.

🌸 DJ samSara je vsestranska glasbena umetnica, ki slovi po svoji zmožnosti kombiniranja različnih žanrov in ustvarjanju edinstvenega zvoka z igranjem z vinilnih plošč. Najpogosteje nastopa v tandemu z Evo Jakimosko, s katero sta leta 2015 ustanovili DJ duo Saraieva. Veščin DJ-anja se je naučila v športno-kulturnem društvu GOR pod mentorstvom DJ WooD-ja, DJ K’pow-a in DJ SunnySun-a.

🚀 Raketa se je profilirala kot poznavalka britanske elektronske scene (od jungla do grima in UK garaga) in v zadnjih letih svojo selekcijo razširila tudi na ameriške ghettotech, electro in footwork odvode. Kot kuratorka oddaje Vibe check na Radiu Študent raziskuje plasti klubske kulture in dobre prakse, ki živijo ob njej. Raketina produkcija, skrita v kote interneta in njenih nastopov, pa se manifestira kot meme ghetto-grime moment.

OPENING WARM-UP of this year’s #LJSAF ’23 – (Ljubljana Street Art Festival ’23) at the Gala Hala outdoor terrace will be enriched by local, well-known DJs samSara (20:00-22:00) and Raketa (22:00-00:00). Each will bring their specific selection of groove and eclectic performance.

🌸 DJ samSara is a versatile musical artist known for her ability to blend different genres and create a unique sound by playing vinyls. She often performs as a duo with Eva Jakimoska, together founding the DJ duo Saraieva in 2015. She learned DJ skills at the sports and cultural association GOR under the mentorship of DJ WooD, DJ K’pow, and DJ SunnySun.

🚀 Raketa has established herself as an expert in the British electronic scene (from jungle to grime and UK garage) and in recent years expanded her selection to include American ghettotech, electro, and footwork derivatives. As the curator of the show “Vibe check” on Radio Študent, she explores the layers of club culture and the good practices that thrive within it. Raketa’s production, hidden in the corners of the internet and her performances, manifests as a meme-ghetto grime moment.
