Don Karlos & the Preachers LIVE

Don Karlos & The Preachers are pure “Johnny Cash” stiled hillbilly trio, founded by Don Karlos(Karlo Starcevic) frontman of the Mississippi Queen. Reason fot that? MQ has always played mixcure of country and rockabilly music, but as the years gonne by, it turned strictly to the rockabilly side. So there’s a lotta great music left at the side with no one to play it. But now there is: Don Karlos and The Preachers!
The rest of the bend are: Jurica Stelma, another original member of the MQ, on the slap bass, and Eduard Jimmy Matesic on the solo guitar. Both of the guys sing along, so it’s quite a melodic stuff for your ears!
The bend plays 1950 s country, mostly covers from Johnny Cash, Buck Owens, Faron Young, Ernest Tubb, Hank Williams, Marty Robbins, etc., but it’s not unpossible to hear some country stuff of the MQ too.
So come and join them on the next gig and be ready to sing along, ‘couse there’s a lotta good energy around the dance floor, when these guys come to play.
